Oklahoma Baptist divided and conquered Saturday in two track meets.

Oklahoma Baptist is ranked second in women's indoor track and fifth in men's indoor track according to the inagural US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NAIA National Team Computer rankings, released Wednesday. 

Oklahoma Baptist's Akela Jones is Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Field Event Athlete of the Week for Jan. 21-27.

Ten Bison and 10 Lady Bison met automatic national qualifying standards with their finishes at the Kansas State Invitational Saturday.

Oklahoma Baptist teammates Hannah Helker and Akela Jones claimed Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for Jan. 13-19.

Oklahoma Baptist hit 12 automatic national qualifying marks and added another four provisional marks at the Herm Wilson Invitational at Wichita State Saturday.
